(FROM OTTAWA CITIZEN) Victims of the September tornadoes will receive $262,000 from the Centraide Outaouais group. The monies will be split between eight groups with the following initiatives:

  • “to rebuild the social fabric” of the Mont Bleu neighbourhood;
  • Translation services for people not fluent in French;
  • Food aid;
  • Helping victims return home or find a new one.
