(FROM OTTAWA CITIZEN) Public health experts are starting to advise youth in Ottawa to be aware that vaping is on the rise. The principal of a Barrhaven high school advised students and parents that plans to take out bathroom doors may occur to help reduce vaping indoors. Don Murphy, principal, added that bylaw enforcement officers have been granted access to hand out fines to students who are caught vaping on school grounds.

(FROM CBC) CBC has conducted two investigations into Canada’s immigration vetting system because of suspected flaws. Now the Conservatives are asking Parliament to investigate the security screening process. The government began to answer questions about an immigrant who is a “national security concern” and how he was allowed permanent residency due to a series of failures that occurred from the Canadian border agency and immigration department in late 2017.

(FROM FOX) The new Honduran caravan that has grown from 500 to an estimated 2,000 people has now reached Mexico. The Mexican citizens living on the border have taken to the internet to protest the newly arrived caravan. The not-so-welcoming social media comments are continuous from last year when the first caravan arrived. The unwelcoming citizens of Mexico and the tension is most prevalent in the city, Tijuana, where the caravan from last year is being held. The concerns of the Mexican residents are understandable, as citizens are saying that Mexico has problems of its own and does not need more issues.
