“Wet pussy!” screamed Steph Craig at The Observatory as she ran to the drag queen standing behind a table of sex toys to claim her prize.
It was a frequently-heard phrase that announced another prize won at Algonquin’s Dirty Bingo event March 4.
Craig, a baking and pastry arts student, won a 10-inch long clear blue dildo at Algonquin’s monthly event.
“I’ve been here four times,” said Craig. “It’s my first time winning. It’s embarrassing and exciting.”
The event had a huge turnout as usual and sold out for the second time in a row. Drag queen hosts Zelda Marshall and Krystal Caring were telling raunchy jokes all night, helping get the crowd comfortable with sex and sexuality.
“It’s dirtier than I expected but I’m having a lot of fun,” said design studies student Jen Smit who experienced Dirty Bingo for the first time.
Marshall was in a classy black dress and was responsible for calling out numbers while Caring, dressed in sparkles from head to toe, interacted with players. This mostly consisted of swearing and hitting on everyone at the bar.
Bingo players were even spanked by the drag queen hosts with a butterfly paddle, either as punishment for filling out their bingo cards wrong or to celebrate a birthday.
One player named Samantha turned 23, so she received 23 spankings by Marshall and her friends and was forced to say, “Thank you, can I please have another?”
Marshall said she and Caring love coming back every month. They want to help students have a great night and see them light up when they win prizes.
“Students hear about it and want to check it out or they want to win so they come back,” said Marshall. “We’re very grateful it sells out so quickly.”
