After a scoreless first half Algonquin Thunder’s men’s soccer team netted two goals against the Fanshawe Falcons, propelling them forward to the OCAA finals vs. current national champions, the Humber Hawks. The Hawks secured their spot in the finals earlier this afternoon in a 1-0 victory against the Sheridan Bruins.

Second-year forward Abraham Kamara knocked in a corner attempt 47 minutes into the match, giving Algonquin the first point of the game. Defender Isaac Johnson scored the second goal for Algonquin in the 61st minute and secured their spot as victors with the final score of 2-0.

The Thunder face the Hawks in the OCAA finals tomorrow at 2 p.m, at Algonquin College.
