Rogers Hometown Hockey came to Algonquin College campus on November 3rd and 4th. The Scotiabank community hockey rink was a major hit for ball hockey enthusiasts, and pick up games were encouraged. Minor hockey teams also came out for organized games, and to meet familiar players like retired professional hockey player Chris Kelly. Scotiabank has promised to donate $15,000 to hockey associations all over Ottawa.
