5Three strikes, you’re out

A male, not part of the student body, was loitering around Four Corners consuming what appeared to be alcohol at 5:52 p.m. on Sept. 20. Security officers approached the male who then became very aggressive towards the officers. As a result, the male was issued a verbal notice prohibiting his entry on college property. The male was then escorted off school property. Shortly after, the male came back and entered a residence building. Security found the male and placed him under arrest, releasing him to the Ottawa police services. The police issued him two provincial offence notices and then allowed him to leave the property.

 Fool me once shame on you

Security observed two persons with notices of prohibited entry violating their notice by entering CA – building west on Sept. 16 at 4:14 p.m. The security officers confirmed the individuals’ identities and held them until the Ottawa police arrived to arrest them.

Off-road adventures

An OC Transpo bus decided to take a shortcut around a waste management truck on plant road on Sept. 17, at 12:51 p.m. The bus caused damage to the grass hill and after observing this incident security contacted OC Transpo law to investigate.

Devil’s lettuce on campus

Two males were caught inhaling marijuana in the pay and display booth on parking lot 10 on Sept. 18 at 10 a.m. Both males admitted to smoking the illicit substances. They were compliant when asked to provide their identification and were left with a warning.

Someone’s watching you

Parking services reported an individual exiting parking lot seven without paying at 7:56 a.m. on Sept. 19. Footage of the incident was reviewed and a description of the suspect was obtained. The investigation is still ongoing.

Bottle doesn’t provide answers

Security requested a male to vacate the college premises several times for being extremely intoxicated and interfering with a medical situation on Sept. 26 at 12 p.m. The male refused to leave and was placed under arrest. The Ottawa police later issued the male citations and a notice prohibiting the male’s entry.
