The second AC Market this year took place in the Student Commons and young entrepreneurs set up their booths as they were eager to show off their wares.

Students at the school presented their merchandise and products to other students and professors. The products ranged from clothing to different types of jewellery – some handmade and some already supplied.

Oliver Wolf and Forrest Vetter are both former business students who work for “Clever Clothing,” one of the vendors at the Market. The business is participating in its sixth AC Market and are the only business to have come to every single one.

“We grew with the AC Market because when we first started it was really small,” said Vetter. “There were six people and we shared two tables.”

The AC Market is new to some students like Omar Tabbara who’s taking part in the event in hopes of seeing how his product will launch.

Tabbara is selling bracelets that have been imported.

“I brought the inventory in just for this,” Tabbara explained. “I want to see how it launches and what people think of it.”

“We’ve had a lot of different vendors come out compare to the first two so it is getting bigger in that aspect,” said Stacey Kelly a student support services worker. She along, with Patrick Newell who works for the clubs and communities of the college, were administrating the event.

“We gave them larger tables,” said Newell half-jokingly, while talking about what improvements were made this time around with the AC Market.
