Ottawa Police Services received a call for “indecent acts” occurring at 1400 Woodroffe Ave. at around 2 p.m. on Oct. 24. OPS media relations officer Cst. Amy Gagnon reported that no arrests have been made yet and investigation into the incident is ongoing,

PHYSICAL ASSAULT ON CAMPUS

A student reported witnessing physical assault taking place on campus grounds on Oct. 16. Security personnel reacted immediately and the suspect was arrested.

STUDENT REPORTS HARASSMENT

A student reported being harassed on Oct. 19. Security services reminds students that all allegations are taken seriously and urges students to always report such incidents. dddd

EXHAUSTION CAUSE FOR STUDENT FAINTING

A student collapsed in class on Oct. 11. Security was notified and EMS arrived and assessed the student’s condition, which seems to have been the result of physical exhaustion and lack of nutrition that day.

LOCKER THEFT

A student reported their items had been stolen from an unlocked locker on Oct. 22. Security would like to remind students to be diligent when securing their property and to use good quality locks.

SCAMMER EJECTED FROM CAMPUS

An individual believed to be involved in fraud was observed on campus on Oct. 11 and was subsequently removed by security and issued a notice prohibiting entry.
