The Perth campus has “nothing to worry about” following the three cases of attempted murder that happened near the campus on Sept. 30.

Despite the close proximity of the attack and the school — roughly a 10 minute walk – Chair Sara Munroe insisted that students did not need to worry, stating that she had not even heard about the incident.

Perth resident Douglas Schuyler, 46, has been charged with three counts of attempted murder, as well as possession of a restricted or prohibited weapon

The attack took place at the intersection of Brock Street South and Drummond Street East in the early hours of Sunday morning.

One man has reportedly been airlifted to Kingston General Hospital, while two women were taken by ambulance.
