David Paré lived in Mont-Tremblant until January 2014.

He moved to Ottawa because “It was time to do something new, something different.”

Now, 19 years old, and a first-year entrepreneurship student, David Paré is the leader of the organization called Young Pros Academy, which has now more than 200 people in it.

He started it in September 2015, but the project was in his mind since a year before.

The purpose of Young Pros Academy is to “connect, develop, inspire” the “leaders of tomorrow,” according to Paré.

But it wasn’t an easy task.

“It started hard, it was all about conveying my vision and influencing others to bring my vision with them,” said Paré. “Then it was all about directing the right people to do the right thing.”

“He is a very spirited guy,” said Shaktisinh Sodha, another first-year entrepreneurship student and member of Young Pros Academy. “He wants people to join a community, and that’s enlightening to them.”

Marcos Pulvirenti, in another interview for the Times, Agreed.

“He’s confident, and has high self-esteem,” he said. “The dream of David is to teach more people to be young entrepreneurs.”

“He’s influentially motivated and positive,” said Oliver Wolf, a business partner of Paré.

“He will make you believe that what you’re doing is not only achievable, but that you can do even more.”

Paré said that he feels absolutely fulfilled. “What I’ve created is something that I’ve always wanted to create and seeing people impacted by it is the best feeling.”

Young Pros Academy recently partnered with AC Ignite, the entrepreneurship centre opened by the college.

“Young Pros Academy definitely set up some momentum, and won’t stop until the project has impacted millions of people around the planet,” he added.

“He is someone to keep an eye on as he goes through life,” said Wolf. “Big things are going to happen because of him.”
