Fitness and Health Promotion student Felicia Mazerolle has been a key component of a successful women’s basketball team this year.
Originating from Elliot Lake, Ont. this point guard is without a doubt one of the most energetic presences on the court in each of the Thunder’s 11 wins.
Number eight leads the team with an average of 17.1 points per game in 12 games played.
So far this season she’s fifth in the league for assists with 54 and second in the league for steals with 48.
Mazerolle will be expected to keep her intensity up during the playoffs.
Her mindset and leadership attitude match her on-court skills to make her a true threat in the playoffs.
“For us we’re not focused on the score or the other team, we’re focused on what we’re doing.”
